Your nana & I have that in common.

This is one of my absolute favorite Hunger Games/Mean Girls memes.  This blog is hilarious- if you’re a fan of The Hunger Games and Mean Girls, I definitely recommend it!

Thank you, guys who attach their wallets to their pants with a chain, for saying, “I really like the year 1994.”

A picture and note from Tammy Ma, a Wesley alumnus who runs a children’s home in Asia.
Please please join the K-family in FIGHTING for our precious Kumari. Just got word today that a long lost (never met her before) Uncle wants custody. There is very little true child advocacy here. His family is very poor. He told the social worker, ‘Why should my dead brother’s daughter come up in life, and become better than my own children. I don’t even send my own children to school, they can learn how to work. No way. She can live with us. No way she is going to be higher than my kids.” The govt. supports him, not us. Our only hope is JESUS, PRAY PRAY PRAY!!! May 1st is the date of decision. Our kids are unashamedly contending, our team is contending. Will you please pray with us? There are few things lower in society here than a 5 year old girl, who has lost her parents, from a low caste, and from a poverty stricken family. PRAY! (PS. We even offered to enroll his kids in our family support program so that they could get a similar education….he declined)
